These 5 Hair Hacks are proven to get you the Healthiest Hair Ever!!


We invest our money to maintain our glow game when it comes to our skincare regimen, but the strange reality is that many of us forget to treat our hair to the same amount of Treatment, Love and Care. No matter what our scalp type is, most of us reach for any shampoo and conditioner from the drugstore or use our styling tools to style our hair without using a heat protectant which in turn makes our hair damage and unhealthy.

So, I’ve curated these 5 proven hair hacks that will help you get the healthiest hair. In this post, I’ve shared my haircare routine that’ll help you in taking care of your hair to the next level. 1. A Big No to Unhealthy Scalp

It’s no secret that a healthy mane starts with a healthy scalp. The bottom line is: if your scalp is not clean, overloaded with dead skin, product build-up and excess oil, it’ll damage your hair and it can even stunt healthy hair growth. One of my favorite hair care rituals that leads to a happy and healthy scalp is SCALP MASSAGE. It might sound boring but trust me massaging your scalp actually promotes healthy hair as it boosts your blood flow. And not only is it completely free and super duper relaxing, but it can also encourage new hair growth. Here’s how you can massage your scalp.

There are two options to massage your Scalp – you can use the power of your fingertips or use a massage tool.

The Fingertip Technique

  • This is optional, but you can try putting your head upside down off the side of your bed, so the blood rushes to your head.
  • Use your fingertips to apply medium pressure moving in small circular motions, starting from the front of your scalp and working your way backward. For extra stress relief, you can massage your temples too.
  • Try to massage your scalp for two minutes every day or do it for three to five minutes each time.

Studies show that continual and frequent scalp massages can lead to a boost in hair growth within six months of daily scalp massage!

Also, I like to do a scalp massage for two minutes every time I shampoo my hair, as it helps remove product buildup more effectively while simultaneously gently exfoliating away any dead skin cells.

3. Avoid Hot Showers

While showering in hot water may feel great, but it’s actually damaging for your hair. High temperatures strip your hair and scalp of its natural oils, leaving your scalp dry and dehydrated. Try to resist the urge of hot showers and opt for warm temperatures instead. If you can, finish your hair wash with a surge of cold water to seal the hair follicle.

4. Use Shampoo only on your Scalp, not on your Hair Length

Yes, you read it right! To remove excess oils and product buildup, you should use shampoo only on your scalp, not on your hair length because shampooing your hair length will strip off the natural oils of your hair which will make them dry and dehydrated. So, use shampoo only on your scalp and apply conditioner only on your hair length. To remove excess oils and product buildup, you can also double cleanse your hair just like we double cleanse our face. Also, I’ll recommend you to shampoo your hair twice a week, following with an ultra restorative conditioner.
